We want to wish you a happy and peaceful 2023. Thank you for your love and support in difficult times. We appreciate you.
Hebrews 12:1-2
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of God.”
Eric Liddell, an Olympic Gold Medalist and missionary said the following about striving toward a goal and hard work;
“No man who really is a man ever cared for the easy task. There is no enjoyment in the game that is easily won. It is that in which you have to strain every muscle and sinew to achieve victory that provides real joy.”
I believe that as Christians we all had to strain and stretch our physical as well as spiritual muscles during the past year and that even more will be required of us in the coming year. Our prayer is that God will by His infinite grace provide us the wisdom and strength to ‘run the race’.

I was blessed when I saw this man as we drove home with some of the verse in Hebrews printed on his T-shirt. Unfortunately, for the chickens the race is over as they will end up in the pot for the New Year celebrations.
