The Sea Explorers camp was an absolute blast and enjoyed by all. Dries and I thought that it was going to be very tiring, but we had everything prepared and the leaders all knew what their responsibilities were. A famous chef said, ‘Rather sweat in peace, than bleed in war.’ We were in full agreement with that as we had no crises at camp. Well, almost not. The 50kg bag of rice ran out and we still had one lunch to go. Fortunately, the market is just a short tuc-tuc ride away. I’ll tell you all about the camp later. Here are a couple of pictures to start off with.

Some really great news! All of our grade 5 students passed the national exam. It is really an achievement as the educational situation keeps on deteriorating. Teacher Antonin put in a lot of extra hours and we are happy that the school year could end off on such a positive note.
We are trying to get everything organised at home after the camp. Dries has been working on the centre box of the boat, so no holiday for us at this time. We only had a couple of hours of electricity per day since Saturday and that really slows one down. Of course, nobody knows why and there was no warning about it.
There is no news about Gabriel’s valuation until now and I was told on Monday that ‘ilay olo responsable lasa voyage’, which means that whoever is in charge of the circus went somewhere. Lucky him! So we wait.
Thank you for your continuous prayer for us.
