After two weeks of non-stop work, I can finally show evidence of the new roof. Only two classrooms so far, which means that we shall need another week to finish and therfore we are a week over the designated time. There is nothing to do about that. At least, following popular culture, we can put the blame on the fact that the owner probably measured and levelled nothing at the time of construction.
I asked myself a few times this week why we always end up with these projects which nobody else would even think to touch. Dries simply replied, “We work with what God gives us.” And of course that is the truth, even if that was not really what I wanted to hear.
Please pray that we will get through this week. We are both tired and the continuous stress takes its toll.
