Sendingnuus – Madagaskar: THE WEEK – 27/01/2025

Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.

Psalm 25: 21

The Adventure and Expedition Rangers are currently exploring a Bible series on the Book of Psalms, and this past Saturday, we were especially blessed by Psalm 25. Every verse in this chapter is rich in meaning and deeply relevant to our daily lives. It was a comforting reminder that when we place our trust in the Lord, He provides for us and delivers us from the schemes of the wicked. The Rangers also reflected on God’s call to live with integrity and righteousness, striving to walk in His ways.

Anne and Annika taught an English Ranger Song

The new classroom is nearly complete, and I’m excited to start painting and decorating to create a warm and suitable space for the preschoolers. Annika, with her wonderful creativity, had already started on the planning of an under-the-sea mural, which we can’t wait to bring to life. Meanwhile, Dries has been hard at work finishing the safety railing to ensure a secure environment for the little ones once the classrooms are ready.

You might be wondering about progress on Gabriel. With all the rain and other pressing projects, Dries hasn’t had as much time to work on the boat as he would have liked. On February 18th, he’ll be heading to South Africa, to attend a missions conference but also to reconnect with family and friends. This break is much needed, offering him a chance to step away from daily challenges and recharge. Please pray for him that everything will fall into place and that his time in SA will be a time of refreshing.
