Sendingnuus – Madagaskar: Die week 13 Oktober 2024

November is always the hottest month on our island.  That uncomfortable heat arrived already well in October this year.  There is not much of a breeze where Dries works on the boat and he needs a change of shirt a couple of times a day.  I walk around with a little towel to wipe the sweat as I go through my day.  Everything happens a little slower now.

We identified four Expedition Rangers who will now start serving as Junior Leaders.  This is very special as they all grew up before us and are such mature young people. Randria’s twin boys, Michel and Mickael will go to Diego to study next year, but they will stay with Rangers until they leave.  Francise and pastor Hery’s son, Miranda, is still in school, but he is a quiet, serious boy.  He received the Royal Ranger of the year award last year.  Maeva is the only girl amongst the boys.  She is a very loyal Ranger.  During meetings, they will take charge of the opening and closing ceremony, lead the prayer time, do the Bible reading and be a part of the worship team.  Dries presented  them with their new badges on Saturday after which they stepped right into their new roles.

Please pray for these young people to make good decisions and to be good role models to the Adventure Rangers.

Have a blessed week!
