Op Dag 45 van ons Lydenstydreeks #VisioDivina luister ons na ‘n buitengewone weergawe van die “Kyrie Eleison” deur “Chant of the Mystics”. Dit is musiek wat uiters gepas is om stil te sit en te onthou dat Jesus bid: “Vader, vergewe hulle.”

This mystical gregorian melody gives a climpse of what can be found in the core of western spirituality. It is sung in the traditional roman-catholic liturgy, specifically found in the 11th mass music collection, called “orbis factor”. “Kyrie eleison” is greek and translates to “God, have mercy”.
