The cooler weather here is such a relief. We sleep better at night and don’t go around in the day wiping away the sweat from our faces. Unfortunately, it only lasts for about two months so we have to enjoy it while we can.
Dries is dividing his time between the building of the centre box of the boat and the school where Norbert and Antonin started to level the floors of two classrooms. They will then do cement floors and I think Francise and Vola, will be very happy after a year of mud floors. It was impossible to keep clean and the new floors will make all the difference.

I have registered for a French language exam at the Aliance Française in South Africa in November. I want to get some kind of qualification for possible use in the future. I also find that the level of French at school needs improvement so that the children could be more successful in secondary school. I want to spend time with my mom who will be eighty-one this year. She had to move house earlier this year and that is always a very significant event when you are older. Please pray with me that it will be possible to go as we are not sure what will happen with Gabriel’s registration and when we will be able to take the boat out of the water. There is also still a classroom that needs to be built at school. I researched the possibility to do the exam in Antananarivo, but that would be a waste of time and money as nothing is working as it should. A shame, as Madagascar is a francophone country.
May you have a blessed week.
