I left Nosy Be on Tuesday afternoon for Antananarivo. I managed to get everything done and everyone organized and prepared for my absence which might be more than a couple of months.
I have not thought about Christmas at all, but in Nosy Be and the capital, fake christmas trees and a sea of plastic gifts and decorations are everywhere.
I had a few very enjoyable days in Tana, feeling a little like a tourist. But now I am packed and ready for the long journey ahead. I leave for Paris tonight and will arrive in Cape Town on the 27th.
